| Abstract: | Progress in the synthesis and theoretical study of the 5-azo derivatives of rhodanine, thiorhodanine, 3-aminorhodanine, thiohydantoin, pseudothiohydantoin, thiopropiorhodanine, and selenoisorhodanine is discussed. Emphasis is placed on peculiarities in the interaction of this series of reagents with noble metals and their practical application in analytical chemistry. |
