Exact solution for laminated continuous open cylindrical shells

Discarding any assumption about displacement models and stress distribution and introducing -function into the present study, we established the state equation for the continuous orthotropic open cylindrical shells. An identical exact solution is presented for the statics of thin, moderately thick and thick laminated continuous open cylindrical shells.
