Blow-up rates for parabolic systems

Abstract:
Let OHgr sub Ropfn be a bounded domain andBR be a ball in Ropfn of radiusR. We consider two parabolic systems: ut=Deltau +f(ugr), ugri=Deltaugr +g(u) in OHgr × (0,T) withu=v=0 on deltaOHgr × (0,T) andut=Deltau, vt=Deltav inBr × (0,T) withdeltae/deltav=f (v), deltae/deltav=g(u) ondeltaBR × (0,T). Whenf(v) andg(u) are power law or exponential functions, we establish estimates on the blow-up rates for nonnegative solutions of the systems.
