Abstract: | ![]() Results are presented for the dependence of the amorphous-polycrystalline transformation temperature, Tt, on the concentration of codeposited gaseous nitrogen in thin iron films. These are compared with the effect of other impurities on Tt for the case of amorphous iron films. It is found that there is an approximate logarithmic dependence of Tt on impurity concentration. |
