Abstract:The simultaneous determination of monoprotic organic acids and carbohydrates by ion chromatography with conductmetric and pulsed amperometric deteetion is described respectively. Mannitol, arabinose, glucose, fructose, lactose, sucrose, raffinose, maltose and lactic, glycolis, formic, pyruvic acids were separated within twelve minutes with 0. 080 mol/L sodium hydroxide as the eluent. The method has been used to analyze the above components in beverages.
