| Abstract: | Incorporation of four trialkoxyphenyl substituents combined with extending the π‐conjugated system has allowed porphyrins to display liquid‐crystalline columnar phases at room temperature. 2D and 3D columnar structures were observed as well as a biaxial smectic phase. |
