Abstract: | In this paper, we propose a new cellular automaton model, which isbased on NaSch traffic model. In our method, when a car has a largervelocity, if the gap between the car and its leading car is not enoughlarge, it will decrease. The aim is that the following carhas a buffer space to decrease its velocity at the next time, and thenavoid to decelerate too high. The simulation results show that using ourmodel, the car deceleration is realistic, and is closerto the field measure than that of NaSch model. |
