Abstract: | The electrochemical behavior of kaempferol, one of the most common flavonoids, was studied using a pyrolytic graphite electrode
and a hemoglobin/polysorbate-20 modified electrode. The modified electrode was found to be applicable for kaempferol determination.
The linear calibration was in the range from 4 × 10−7 to 4 × 10−5 M, with a limit of detection (LOD) of 1 × 10−7 M. The relative standard deviation (RSD) was 3.3% for ten successive determinations. The proposed method is sensitive, has
a high reproducibility, and a wide detection range.
