Impact Force Calculative Investigation of Contact Impact Between Elastic Bar and Structure

In this paper, a model is presented for calculation of the contact impact between an elastic bar and a structure. The model considers the contact impact problem as a general dynamic problem of an elastic structure with a trasient concentrated force and a concentrated damper at the impact place. For a large structure, the calculation can be proceeded only within the region around a special artificial boundary of the structure through FEM or others. The artificial boundary is homogenized and definited artificially by the disturbed region of the structure during the contact impact period.
