Abstract: | ![]() The current study by Kim et al. (in this issue of Chemistry & Biology) uses a genetic approach with the yeast Schizosaccharomyces pombe to identify a highly specific inhibitor of Spc1 MAP kinase that competes with protein substrates for Spc1 interactions, but not with ATP binding. |
