Explicit expressions and results for Tc(n) of the layer compounds of Bi and T1 are obtained within the generalized soliton pairing framework, in which Tc, is raised by the cooperation l i of the two couplings, intralayer and interlayer. The calculated values are in good agreement I with the observed Tc's. The maximum possible Tc(∞) is predicted at≈ 200 K. |
