Uniform convergence on weakly compact subsets |

| Abstract: | Using a theorem of Kadets, we construct on an arbitrary infinite dimensional Banach space X equipped with the weak topology a sequence of real-valued continuous functions convergent uniformly on weakly compact subsets to a discontinuous limit. |
