| Abstract: | Delivery systems for the controlled release of drugs can improve the drugs' therapeutic efficacy, in vitro and in vivo stability, bioavailability and target ability to reduce toxicity. The alternative strategy of using supercritical fluid technologies for fine particle engineering of pharmaceutical materials and drug delivery systems shows great promise. In this review the concepts, progresses and related applications of supercritical fluid technologies are introduced. |
