| Abstract: | A series of phosphoranes containing the hexafluoroisopropoxy group has been synthesized and characterized by 1H, 19F, and 31P n.m.r., and by mass spectrometry. Some variable temperature n.m.r. studies are reported and the results are discussed in terms of possible ground state structures of the phosphoranes. |
