Abstract: | ![]() An indirect polarographic method for the microdetermination of phosphorus in organophosphorus compounds is described. Alkaline hypobromite is used as oxidizing absorbent. Quinoline phosphomolybdate is precipitated with a measured excess of standard molybdate solution. The unreacted Mo(VI) is determined polarographically. Nitrogen, chlorine, bromine and sulphur do not interfere. One determination takes 40 min. The results obtained fall generally within the acceptable limits of error. |
