| Abstract: | The paper describes oscillatory phenomena observed during ammonia oxidation on a PtRh catalyst in a single pellet reactor. The phenomena consist in periodical changes of the catalyst temperature and a periodical initiation of the reaction in the gas phase. They are interpreted via coupling of the catalytic dissociation and homogeneous oxidation of ammonia.
