Polarization of Tapered Semiconductor Travelling-Wave Amplifiers |

| Abstract: | The polarization of a tapered semi conductor travelling wave amplifier has been investigated with the transfer matrix method based on convective equation. It is shown that the apparent polarization mode competition exists, and polarization independent tapered semiconductor travelling wave amplifiers can be obtained through the optimization of amplifier parameters. |
