A TGA/FT-IR system and its application is described. The gases evolved from TGA were induced to the temperature controlled flow cell of an FT-IR spectrophotometer through the temperature controlled transfer pipe and were measured by FT-IR spectrophotometer. The results from the analysis of ethylene-vinyl-acetate copolymer and water-soluble paint are shown. |
