Abstract: | ![]() The solution of the mixed problem of the theory of elasticity for a half plane modeling the stress-strain state of an anisotropic rock mass during the excavation of a seam is constructed. The results of numerical investigation of the length of the neardrift plastic zone of the seam being excavated as a function of the anisotropy of its plastic properties are given.
