| Abstract: | N, N-Dialkylaminomethylfurfuryl alcohols are synthesized by reacting furfuryl alcohol with dialkylamines in ethanol in the presence of paraformaldehyde. The N, N-dialkylaminomethylfurfurals are obtained by oxidizing the appropriate amino alcohols with active MnO2. |
