Abstract: | Characteristic equation for the cylindrical TM010-microwave plasma cavity is given. Analytical expression and perturbation formula for the resonant frequency of TM010 mode dependence of plasma are derived. A comparison between exact and approximate solution shows that the perturbation theory can be used accurately to analyze the detuning of the cavity caused by microwave plasma with a tolerance less than 5%. |
