Abstract:
The effect of a white Gaussian noise (WGN) on the charge density wave (CDW) dynamics properties of a one-dimensional conductor is studied numerically in the weak pinning limit. In agreement with a recent experimental work on the charge density wave conductor K0.3MoO3, the addition of a Gaussian noise affects the CDW dynamics of the system. The results are discussed in the context of CDW dislocations.
