| Abstract: | Polarized photoluminescence spectra of orthorhombic InI are measured from 1.7 K to 100 K. Strong edge luminescence is observed at 2.02 eV at LHeT and assigned to be due to free and bound exciton recombinations from its temperature dependence. Low energy bands are ascribed tentatively to LO (13.8 meV) and 2LO phonon replicas of the edge luminescence and donor-acceptor pair recombinations. |
