| Abstract: | The theoretical equation regarding the column efficiency and resolution of the gradient GC column was derived. The column efficiency and resolution of the tangentioal column, exponential column and classical regular column were compared. The theoretical and practical results show that the tangential column is an ideal gradient column. |
