Abstract: | We perform a qualitative analysis of a differential equation that was originally introduced by Stortelder, Hemker and Hemker to model the formation of thrombin, and discuss issues of controllability and stabilizability. Results include a general proof of convergence to equilibrium, and of local exponential stabilizability. |
