Abstract: | ![]() Light at the end of the tunnel! Intercalates of pyridine and layered inorganic compounds have intrigued chemists for at least two decades, but their structure determination has always been difficult owing to a lack of suitable single crystals. The intercalate (4-H2N-C5H5NH)V2O5 has now been characterized by X-ray crystal structure analysis, and its electronic structure and magnetic properties have been studied in detail. |
