Abstract:The laser characteristics of Nd:YVO4 pumped by a 10W diode bar and its intracavity KTP SHG have been investigated. The beam symmetry of the diode bar has been greatly improved by a multiple reflection beam shaper (MRBS). More than 3.4 W output power at 1064 nm with a 3×3×2 mm3 Nd:YVO4 crystal and 1. 4W at 532nm intracavity SHG with a 8×8×7 mm3 KTP crystal have been obtained. The optical-optical efficiencies are 42% and 17 %, respectively.
