In this study a novel method for direct synthesis of 2-phenyl heteroaromatic arenes was successfully developed. The title compounds were synthesized by reaction of heteroaromatic compounds with diphenylene iodonium trifluoromethanesulfonate in the presence of 5?mol% Pd(OAc)2 under mild reaction conditions (THF, 60?°C, 24?h). The proposed reaction mechanism was studied by HPLC. |
