Abstract:In this review, electrothermal vaporizer (ETV) as a sample introduction technique of ICP-AES (ETV-ICP-AES) was discussed, including vaporizer design, analytical characteristics. interferences mainly matrix effects, vaporization of the elements which easily form refractory carbides by halogenating technique, and application of combined method.
