Existence and uniqueness of solutions of sequential nonlinear fractional difference equations with three‐point fractional sum boundary conditions

Abstract:In this paper, we consider a discrete fractional boundary value problem of the form: urn:x-wiley:mma:media:mma3263:mma3263-math-0001 where 0 < α,β≤1, 1 < α + β≤2, λ and ρ are constants, γ > 0, urn:x-wiley:mma:media:mma3263:mma3263-math-0002, urn:x-wiley:mma:media:mma3263:mma3263-math-0003 is a continuous function, and Eβx(t) = x(t + β ? 1). The existence and uniqueness of solutions are proved by using Banach's fixed point theorem. An illustrative example is also presented. Copyright © 2014 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
