| Abstract: | The effect of appearance of traveling structures, referred to as scattering autowaves, under illumination of photorefractive media by coherent light under certain conditions (power, wavelength, and focusing of pump radiation) is theoretically described. A model is proposed that takes into account both longitudinal and transverse photovoltaic currents in crystals with a spatially isotropic distribution of seed permittivity fluctuations. |
