| Abstract: | The heteroleptic (8-quinolinolato)bis(2,6-di-tert-butyl-4-methyl~phenoxo)samarium complex was synthesized and characterized by elemental analysis, IR spectrum and X-ray diffraction analysis. The complex is a five-coordinate dimer. Each 8-quinolinolato oxygen atom links two samarium atoms as a bridge and the Sm-N bond is a typical donor bond. |
