Disturbance convection velocity in turbulent jets under aeroacoustic excitation

The velocity of propagation of toroidal and oblique vortices formed in subsonic and supersonic turbulent jets under longitudinal internal and transverse external excitation by finite-amplitude saw-tooth acoustic waves is studied experimentally.
