Boundary turbulence in weak polymer solutions

The construction of a semiempirical method for determining boundary turbulence close to a wall (based on the theory of similarity, dimensional analysis, and certain hypotheses regarding mixing paths) is considered; also considered is the generalization of this method to the case of the turbulent flow of weak polymer solutions in the neighborhood of both smooth and rough surfaces.
