Abstract: | La3+-doped BiPO4 photocatalysts were prepared via a hydrothermal process. Their morphologies, structures, and light absorption properties were evaluated. A small amount of La-doping (optimized at 2 mol %) could significantly improve the activity of BiPO4 in the degradation of methylene blue under ultraviolet irradiation. After five recycles, the La3+-doped BiPO4 did not exhibit any apparent loss in activity, confirming its stability despite recycling. |
