| Abstract: | A convenient route was successfully developed for the synthesis of novel heterocycles such as pyrazolo3,4-h]1,6]naphthyridine and dipyrazolo3,4-b:3,4-d]pyridine (DPP) from pyrazolo3,4-b]pyridine in good yield. The DPP derivatives synthesized were further studied for their fluorescence properties. |
