| Abstract: | In this paper,the characteristics of X ray powder diffraction technique in the study of crystal structures and the application of metal free phthalocyanine have been reviewed.Ten polymorphic forms of metal free phthalocyanine have been clarified on basis of X ray powder diffraction patterns.The possibility of existence of each polymorph has been discussed in detail. |
