Abstract: | An exact solution is obtained for the one-dimensional time-independent Schrödinger equation with a symmetric double minimum potential constructed from two Morse potentials. This model potential is used to describe the inversion motions in NH3, ND3, and NT3, and its adequacy is discussed. |
