Photon-hadron interactions revisited in deep inelastic muon scattering |

| Abstract: | New results for deep inelastic muon scattering are reviewed. These include shadowing results tox bj ∼10−5, nucleon structure functions measurements, the Gottfried sum rule and the use of deep inelastic scattering to obtain information on gluon distributions. The future of muon scattering in the HERA era is discussed. |
