| Abstract: | This survey presents results on specification of topological spaces by various algebraic structures of continuous functions. Results are presented on specification of E-compact spaces by general structures of continuous functions, on specification of spaces by rings of continuous functions and the systems associated with them, and on specifications of spaces by lattices of open sets and semigroups of continuous transformations.
