Abstract:A new stepping chain {Cu(1,10-phen)]2(H2O3PCH2C6H4C6H4CH2PO3H)2(HO3P- CH2C6H4C6H4CH2PO3H)}n 1 (C66H60Cu2N4O18P6) has been hydrothermally synthesized and charac- terized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction. It belongs to monoclinic, space group C2/c with a = 25.6114(4), b = 18.3781(2), c = 16.5180(3) ? b = 124.0610(10)? V = 6441.00(17) ?, Z = 4, Dc = 1.557 g/cm3, m(Mo-Ka) = 0.887 mm-1, F(000) = 3104, the final R = 0.0853 and wR = 0.1676 for 5585 independent reflections.
