| Abstract: | A novel naphthoquinone (1) was isolated from the methanol extract of P. zeylanica roots in addition to a known compound plumbagin (2). Their structures were determined by UV, IR, MS, 1H, and 13C NMR spectroscopic analysis, including 2D NMR. |
