Abstract: | 2,3-Di(pyrrole-2-yl)quinoxaline anion sensors with extended chromophores display dramatic enhancement in fluorescence intensity (sensing output), increased affinity for inorganic anions as well as strong selectivity for pyrophosphate over phosphate anion. |
