Coumarins fromPhlojodicarpus sibiricus

Phlojodicarpin [8-(2,3-epoxy-1-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-7-methoxycoumarin, C₁₅H₁₆O₅, mp 143–145°C, []_D²⁵-37.5°], and isophlojodicarpin [8-(1,2-epoxy-3-hydroxy-3-methylbutyl)-7-methoxycoumarin, C₁₅H₁₆O₅, mp 132–134°C, []_D²⁵-102.5°] have been isolated from the epigeal part ofPhlojodicarpus sibiricus.
