| Abstract: | This paper reveals the essence of ERR (external rate of return) of the conventional investment project and points out its defects. The study shows that in practice it′s improper to use ERR to take the place of IRR (internal rate of return) when undertaking economic analysis and evaluation of the conventional investment project. |
