| Abstract: | Some ω-(2-benzofuranyl)alkanoic acids 1 , n = 2-5 were synthesized by acylation of benzofuran with ω-(ethoxycarbonyl)alkanoic acids in trifluoroacetic anhydride followed by Wolff-Kishner reductions. |
