| Abstract: | Gas-liquid-solid (GLS) polymer PLOT columns were prepared by in situ copoly-merization of ethylvinylbenzene and divinylbenzene with different polarities and amounts of liquid phase. The role of the liquid phase in these GLS columns and its influence on the performance of these GLS columns were studied by measuring the changes of isosteric heats of adsorption. The required amounts of liquid phase and the forming process of a GLS column can be estimated. |
