On the 2003 Nobel prize in physics |

| Abstract: | The pioneering contributions to the theory of superconductors and superfluids by Nobel laureates Alexei A Abrikosov , Vitaly L Ginzburg and Anthony J Leggett are briefly reviewed. Special attention is paid to the background and importance of the theories they developed. The inspiration that the 2003 Prize offers us is also briefly considered. |
