| Abstract: | The essential oil of Chimonanthus nitens was extracted by the volatile oil extractor,and analyzed by capillary gas chromatograph-mass spectrometry.Seventy two volatile components were identified and their relative contents were determined.It was found that the main volatile components were of alkenes(42.43%) and alcohols(39.60%),in which the predominant compounds were dehydroaromadendrene(7.97%),(-)Spathulenol(7.25%),alpha-Cadinol(7.08%),(+)-Spathulenol(6.19%),delta-Cadinene(4.80%),E-Farnesene epoxide(4.36%),Caryophyllene(4.06%), Tau Muurolol(3.75%),n-Hexadecanoic acid(3.66%),and(-)-Caryophyllene oxide(3.37%). |
