Abstract: | A new iterative method of calculating periodic orbits of one-dimensional maps is presented, based on a lemma of Metropolis, Stein and Stein, with accelerated convergence based on Feigenbaum's scaling hypothesis. We are able to calculate global bifurcation diagrams, including unstable branches. |
